Traditional Polki design has always taken its cues from the occasion — what a wedding calls for, what an anniversary calls for, what's expected at a particular event. The woman wearing it was, more often than not, an afterthought to the ceremony itself.
We design differently. Every UNCUT Festive piece starts with a question that has nothing to do with the calendar: who is she, and what does she actually want to feel wearing this? The occasion still matters — it's often the reason a piece exists at all — but it's no longer the brief. She is.

That's a small shift with a large effect. It means a UNCUT Exclusive commission can look nothing like the last one we made, even for the same event, because it was never about replicating a formula — it was about one woman. And it's the same principle, at a different scale and register, that makes UBAA work: jewelry chosen for who you are on an ordinary day, not for what the day demands of you.
